Educational projects have always been high on our agenda. Architectural issues such as low maintenance requirements, energy efficiency, ventilation and natural light are key in educational environments. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important topic too.

Residential Projects

Close consultation with local planning authorities, archaeological and conservation issues,contemporary design, use of traditional materials, low energy consumption, insulation, low maintenance and good use of natural light are all key issues in modern residential architecture, especially in our local area where there are many old and listed buildings.

Religious Projects

We have the experience, resources and expertise to undertake feasibility studies, quinquennial inspections, maintenance repairs and liturgical re-ordering. In addition, our practice principles are members of the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association.

Recreational Projects

Recreational projects bring their own individual issues to the table. Hotels are increasingly providing a wide range of recreational facilities for the benefit of their guests, sports clubs are renewing old facilities. Felce & Guy has detailed experience of fulfilling these diverse requirements.

Other Projects

Sustainability is an integral part of the design process for us. We have long recognised the need for buildings to benefit their local environment and minimise energy use and we are members of the Green Register of Contruction Professionals. Medical systems are another speciality of ours. Working with Varian Medical Systems, we have developed a deep understanding of the specialist requirements of such installations.
