Felce & Guy Partnership have carried out many projects at the school over the last 10 years, delivering phases of the building development plan, as funding allowed.
Recent projects include an AJ design prize nominated library and group room extension and also a new school hall/community sports facility.
The new two classroom extension projects out and connects with the existing library and group room continuing the same elevational treatment to the south elevation with full height fenestration to maximise natural light and offer the children & staff views to the nature area outside.
The classrooms have access to a decked walkway providing outside teaching space protected by a deep overhang of projecting exposed timber rafters.
The North elevation faces a hard play area and expresses it’s self as a transparent, lightweight & ordered facade containing the main access/circulation space to the classrooms, finishing with a small group room at the eastern end.
