Felce & Guy Partnership have been working with the Bishop Bell school since 1999 on a master plan developed with the intention to increase the capacity of the school in stages whilst also still keeping the school operating successfully.

As well as projects to provide general teaching, specialist drama, language, dance gym and science accommodation, the library and changing facilities have been completely refurbished, and the school has a brand new entrance and reception.

The construction of an IT room and an Internet Café assisted the school in their bid for specialist maths and computing status.

Current works include a further three blocks of general and specialist teaching rooms linked with a new footbridge over Priory Road, which will enable the school to increase its intake to 210 pupils per year.  The last stage of the school development, also about to start on site, is a special teacher and training facility  serving a wide area of the County.
